Tampere University of applied sciences, post graduated Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

I have almost completed my studies in TAMK (Tampere University of applied sciences) and I'm about to graduate in January 2011. I study ”Mechanical and production Engineering” and I have studied specialization studies for ”Modern production Systems” and ”Production economics”. I'm doing my final thesis for Finpro ry in EXPO 2010 World Exhibition and it is about maintenance and upkeeping of new building.

Employer:     Finpro ry/Finland at Expo 2010 Shanghai, China

Position:         Pavilion Techichian
Description:     Overall upkeeping and maintenance of Finland Pavilion and its exhibition during the EXPO 2010 and technical assistance in VIP-premises. Technicians also give assistance to  performers and bands during performances and on set-up.

Time of employment: Summers 2007 and 2009 and part time working between 2007 and 2010
Position:       Electric/mechanical fitter
Description:     Building electrical cabinets for ABB Oy from parts. Work was done either alone or as pairwork, where other assembled mechanical frame and all mechanical parts and other done wiring of cabinet. Job needed to be done with very high precision.

Description:    I was updating and modifying product information to ERP (MOVEX)  and to product management system. I also assisted in material buying and production management during summer vacations.

Position:        Rubber factory worker
Description:     I was all-around worker in conveyerbelt factorys productionline. Mostly I was working in rubbercalander and operating crane and forklifts.

Future plans

In my future plans I see my self in production management or developement and maybe doing some field work. I see it as possibility to have a job abroad and I would like to work as a part of international team. I would like to improve my language skills and maybe later do Masters studies in engineering.

Interests and hobbies

I am active outdoor and sport person. I do mountain biking, gym, swimming, motorsports and snowboarding. I like to figure out how things work and get my self up-to-date about new technology.  

Other

I have completed my military service in 2004 in Riihimäki and my rank is Second Lieutenant (Signals).
I have also been tutoring starting students in TAMK in 2006.
