A FEW WORDS…
Hello everybody!
My name is Nina and I will be your tour guide today. This is a phrase I have gotten accustomed to use often while working as a guide here in the Finland pavilion or Kirnu as we all affectionately know it. But to learn more about me you should know t his phrase has been in my vocabulary since early 2007 when I first started working as a guide at the Fazer chocolate factory in Finland. I am a lover of chocolate and good conversations but most importantly I am interested in people and new opportunities which is why I ended up there as a guide in the first place. Sharing information and helping others is how I got started and it is still the spark behind my motivation. Working in Kirnu has been a wonderful opportunity for me as I am interested in working in an environment where I can continuously challenge myself and learn something new along the way, curious nature as I am.
I believe the greatest asset that I have to offer is my ability work with many personalities and groups of people. I realize just how valuable this skill is while I’m working here in Kirnu. My period as a team leader for our guide team has also taught me a lot about team work and trust. I adapt easily to new environments and maintain a positive outlook on things which helps motivate others. I have good organizational skills and I have the patience to work with small details. I enjoy working with other people as well as concentrating on my own projects.
My short term goal is to complete my BBA studies at HAAGA-HELIA by 2012 and as a part of my study program I’m looking for an internship in the field of management assistance preferably in Helsinki, Finland or Shanghai, China.
My long term goal is to find a fulfilling job with an international angle. I am open to all new opportunities.
