Finland Pavilion signed agreement on floor painting with Shanghai Art and Design Academy
The Visual Art Faculty of Shanghai Art and Design Academy will be reponsible for painting the floors of the 1st and 3rd floor of the Finland Pavilion. The signing will take place today at its Jiading campus.
Shanghai Art and Design Academy is the only art college among the 100 model high vacational colleges. Under the supervision of experienced teachers and Tikkurila personnel, around 20 students and teachers will devote themselves to the project at the Finland Pavilion. Tikkurila, one of the sponsors of Finland Pavilion, will train the students for 6 days.
The
painting will start in the end of Feb/beginning of March. The content will be
fishes in different sizes and shapes and the colors will be in bronze and dark grey.
The total area of the fishes amounts to 600m2.
This project is a successful cooperation of cultural exchange. The purpose is to find a win-win solution of business and culture on the Expo platform, and to form the mechanism c0-developed by the government, company and school.
