The visual identity of the cultural program showcases Finnish illustration talent
The communications and marketing material of the Finnish cultural program at the Shanghai Expo has been produced by illustration agency Agent Pekka in collaboration with Finpro. The visual identity created by Finnish illustrators will be visible in the cultural program's posters, web, press releases and videos.
The cultural program has been divided into themes, and each theme is illustrated by a Finnish illustrator. The illustrators are Sanna Mander (Classical), Laura Laine (Metal), Maija Louekari (Design), Kasper Strömman (Jazz), Rami Niemi (Architecture), Anna Ahonen & Katariina Lamberg (Electro), Pietari Posti (Fine Arts) and Sanna Annukka (Theatre). Graphic designers Johannes Ekholm and Matti Kunttu created the visual identity for the project. The project is curated by Agent Pekka managing director Pablo Steffa.
The Shanghai Expo illustrations are exhibited in February in the Lasipalatsi Akkuna.
The exhibition is open for public 12.-21.2.2010.
The gallery is open from Tuesday to Sunday 12-6 pm.
