Studies
I am a 23-years’ old Mechanical and Production Engineering student from Tampere. I have also studied courses of production ecomomics. I am on my way to finish my thesis in Tampere University of Applied sciences and I am going to graduate as an engineer during the spring 2011.

This opportunity to come work here at Expo has given me a change to use my skills that i have learned at school past years. And I think it is nice to end my school life with this adventure and move to working life.

Work as technician in the Finland Pavillon

I have been working at Finland Pavillon as Technician since April 2010. Our main responsibilities are taking care of all technical issues at Pavillon during Expo. We are also resbonsible for  starting and closing our exhibition daily and all urgent maintenance works when needed. 

It is a great opportunity and life experience for me to come to China and work in Kirnu. Here I understand more about Chinese culture and its language. Every day is a new start to me to learn more and I have opened my horrizons working in an international environment with diversity. I believe that this job has given me lots of tools to use in my future works. Especially I have learned a lot how to work with Chinese people in their working culture.

Future

When i go back to Finland In November, I will finish my thesis at my school and then I am looking forward to finding a job as an engineer after my graduation. I am  interested in working abroad in future, maybe somewhere in Asia.
